NowPublic, the world’s largest participatory news network, has been nominated for a New York Emmy® Award in the “Advanced Media: Interactivity” category. This marks the first time that a user-generated news site has been nominated for a New York Emmy® Award.
“An Emmy® Award nomination is a tremendous honor for NowPublic and an enormous step forward for participatory journalism,” said Leonard Brody, cofounder and CEO of NowPublic. “User-generated news has been widely embraced over the past year and this occasion validates that it as relevant as traditional newsgathering processes.” To read Leonard Brody’s BrightSight Group profile click here.
